THE ISLAND'S SOUL

Inside LILLØY, time softens. The kitchen, with its Aga stove and an array of tools, is the heart of the home, ready for both everyday cooking and culinary experiments. Nearby, the dining room’s handmade wooden table becomes a natural gathering place—perfect for card games, storytelling, and sharing drinks and legends.  It is surrounded by ceramics and glassware that harmonize with the rhythm of the house. The living room, with its fireplace and soft seating, offers a place to settle. The botanical library is a quiet corner where books, spirits, records, and sketches of Nordic flora coexist, part reading room, part informal bar.

THE ISLAND'S NATURE

Outside LILLØY, the air is sharp, and the land speaks. Terraces curl around the house, offering pockets of pause. The garden’s farm, small yet alive, grows herbs and vegetables that shape the meals here. At the mountain top fireplace, flames flicker against vast vistas. The sauna sits nearby, opening its doors to the sea, while the outdoor bathtub—hot or cold—reflects the shifting sky. The Island Shop buzzes softly with local flavours: plant-based delicacies, homemade treats, and small treasures for body and home. At the edge of it all, Dennis Rudolph’s digital art installations whisper freaky tales into the air. Sculptures made from the island’s stones form a digital gateway, blending mythology with the present.
